Farmer & Reckling

Most of all, I remember... I am not sure if there is one specific moment that made me realize that I wanted to marry Matthew. I am not a girl that always had boyfriends or wanted one, I was fine on my own. But then Matthew and I went on a blind date and things changed. I knew he was special when he blessed the meal on our first date, when he would stay up to the wee hours of the night talking to me, (the night owl), and when we were so quickly able to say I love you. He is the most selfless and caring man, how could I not want to marry him?!

We are both so thankful for everyone who was there to celebrate with us and witness us make a commitment to God and each other! It was a perfect weekend full of family friends and love!

My Family. Your Family.

Most of all, I remember... "What a difference two years can make! Today as I watched our two children open their Valentine's Day gifts with total abandon, it hit me how different our lives have become since adopting our 2 sweet kids--who were four-years-old at the time--in February of 2012. I went from being half of a couple with a thriving, grown stepdaughter in college in the NE, to being a busy, busy mom of two pre-schoolers--suddenly making lunches, chauferring, supervising, reading stories, playing, helping, soothing, and all the rest of the joy and challenge that goes with parenthood. As our family has grown, so has my interest in and love of making family portraits. I realize in a much more personal way the power that these images have, and how quickly our kids grow and change right before our eyes.

With that in mind, I'm very excited to be able to offer family portraits in addition to wedding photography! Today is the launch of my new portrait company, www.familybyjenniferlindberg.com. All of our family sessions are now shot in medium format film, and we do quite a bit of work and planning before each session to make sure it is a total success for you and your family. After the session is over, I come to your home for a fun presentation and ordering meeting, where I get to unveil your images and assist you in choosing your favorites.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement over all of these years. And a big thank you to my wonderful clients and friends who have allowed me to include their portraits in my portfolio!"

McGuyer & Hutson - Part 2

Most of all, I remember... Looking back on our wedding day there are so many wonderful memories that will always stay with us. However, I especially remember our marriage ceremony. Looking into Scott’s eyes as we said our vows to each other, before our guests and before the Lord, it was such a surreal and wonderful moment. The weather we enjoyed on our wedding day, will also always be remembered. It was such a beautiful day and we were so blessed to have such gorgeous weather! When we were announced Mr. and Mrs. Hutson upon the arriving to our reception was also so wonderful. I loved hearing my new name and that will always be a great memory! Finally, I know we will both always remember dancing the night away with each other, our closest friends and family.

McGuyer & Hutson - Part 1

Most of all, I remember... "I knew I wanted to marry Brooke from the very beginning. Her beauty and amazing smile immediately stood out, and it didn't take long to discover that she is also classy, fun, talented, has a heart of gold, and is my best friend. This was the girl I had waited my whole life for."

"After dating for several months, Scott and I became best friends and fell in love. He is a wonderful person inside and out, and I continue to thank God for bringing him into my life! I have always known I wanted to marry Scott because I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life without him.

Scott proposed to me one Sunday, after I had been away with my girl friends. I walked into the back door of my house and I was greeted by a trail of rose petals. The petals led me to the living room where my husband to be was waiting for me. There were rose petals, flowers, and candles everywhere and Scott was dressed in a suit. As soon as I walked into the living room, he dropped to one knee and proposed to me. It was so romantic and sweet! I was even more surprised because he had told me he was also going out of town on a fishing trip, so seeing him and the romantic proposal were wonderful surprises!"
