Most of all, I remember... Our wedding day was so wonderful and special, and we are so thankful to all of our family and friends that came from near and far to celebrate with us. There were so many incredible and memorable moments, but there are a few in particular that really stand out to me.
I am so glad that we decided to do a “first look.” I loved having the chance to have a quiet moment to ourselves and share some laughs before the ceremony and celebration began.
Before joining our guests, Andrew and I were able to eat dinner together in a private room next to the reception. It was so wonderful hearing the buzz of the party right outside our door while we were able to have a quick bite and enjoy the fact that we were finally married!
Also, I loved getting up on stage with the entire wedding party and Andrew to dance with our band. Having the chance to look out on so many of our friends and family having so much fun dancing while belting out the words to some of my favorite songs with my best friends and new husband is a memory I will always cherish.
Most of all, I remember the happiness that enveloped the entire wedding. It was such a wonderful day, and the joy in the room seemed to be contagious. Everywhere we turned we saw smiles and laughter, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Surely there is no greater feeling than to have everyone we love in one place celebrating the best day of our lives.
