A Ranch Wedding Kiss

Never get tired of looking at this beautiful moment from Sarah & Steven's Ranch wedding! It was such a luxury to have this time they set aside so that we could wander the ranch and document their radiant love. If you have the opportunity to set aside 15-20 minutes of time to share privately with your wedding photographer on your wedding day--do it! Please.  I don't think you'll regret it.

We Love iPhones!

We had a hearty laugh when someone recently said that we don't allow iPhones at the weddings we document. Then we realized that someone actually believed it!  We love our iPhones and go into severe withdrawal when we can’t check our Instagram feed. We adore following our brides and grooms, and the talented vendors we work with too. Follow us @jenniferlindbergphotography as we share fun iPhone moments we've taken at weddings and more. And see if you can spot the iPhone or iPads--and our littlest co-documentarian--in all of the the images below... Hilarious!

The Bentley Family

Loved getting to do this wintry family session last December with the Bentleys! It was featured recently on the beautiful "Grey Likes Baby" blog:  http://www.greylikesbaby.com/photography-2/fabulous-family-in-open-space/.

Not only are the Bentleys  the sweetest family you could ever meet, Trina happens to be the uber talented founder of the graphic design firm: Make and Matter.

We love photographing families, and have 2 slots open in September and 2 in October. Those months are a great time to start thinking of holiday gifts and cards, before the holiday rush sets in, and there is no time left to do much of anything except breathe and wrap presents! Call or text me at 512.576.2889 for more info about our family sessions and to reserve a slot.

Thank you,

-Jenn

Ellie & Kevin are engaged!

Most of all, I remember... I knew I wanted to marry Ellie when we were attending a UT football game, and she convinced me we had to drive to College Station to watch the Aggies play that night as well. Any girl who suggests attending two football games in one day is a keeper in my mind.

Then one day, Kevin came home early from Atlanta to surprise me and took me down to Gruene, Texas. We had lunch at The Gristmill and began to walk around the antique stores. In between two of the stores, there was a clearing that Kevin convinced me was worth checking out. As I got closer, I noticed a bench under an old oak tree with flowers. At that point I knew it was coming! He proceeded to sit me down on the bench, and he read me a letter and a passage from scripture before he got down on one knee. We spent the rest of the afternoon taking old timey photos and exploring Gruene before we went home to celebrate with friends and family. It was the perfect day!

The new Mrs. Welch recalls her perfect Christmas Gift--a proposal!

Most of all, I remember...it was a Tuesday in December when I decided that I wanted to get my very own Christmas tree to have in my apartment. I expressed my interest to Hunter and he seemed a tad bit overly excited about the idea. So, later that night we got a Christmas tree and I decorated it with gold and silver stars. After placing what I thought was the final ornament on the tree, Hunter handed me a little stocking and said there was one more for me to hang. I glanced down at the stocking and saw a brown box. Hunter took the box out of the stocking, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course said, "YES!"
